Sandboarding Agadir Trip
ACTIVITY
Itinerary:
- We will pick you up from the reception of your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout at the designated time provided during the booking.
- Enjoy a scenic drive north of Agadir for approximately one hour, heading towards the banana village of Tamri.
- Arrive at the banana village and indulge in a delicious lunch prepared by locals.
- After lunch, we will continue our journey to the secret sand dunes located along the ocean.
- Receive a 10-minute orientation on how to sandboard, ensuring you are ready for the adventure ahead.
- Once you are familiar with the sandboarding techniques, you can enjoy the activity to your heart’s content, sliding down the sand dunes until you have exhausted your energy.
- Take in the breathtaking views and make lasting memories of the stunning surroundings.
- When you have had your fill of sandboarding and enjoyed the picturesque scenery, we will commence our return journey back to your hotel.

Experience the thrill of sandboarding in Agadir and enjoy a unique adventure in the Moroccan desert. Try this exciting sport and surf down the sand dunes while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. .
Begin the day with pick-up from your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout at the selected time (10 am or 2 pm).
Embark on an hour-long drive north of Agadir, passing through villages including the surfers’ villages of Taghazout and Tamrakht, as well as the banana village of Tamri.
Arrive at Timlalin (Sand dunes) near Taboga Beach, where your sandboarding experience will take place.
Receive a brief orientation on how to sandboard and then have the opportunity to try this exhilarating activity for yourself. Surf down the huge sand dunes, enjoying the adrenaline rush and the stunning views.
After several descents and an exciting sandboarding session, take a break and enjoy a delicious snack along with tasty local tea to recharge your energy.
Take in the panoramic view of the wild beach and, if timing allows, experience the beautiful sunset.
Once you have had enough sandboarding and enjoyed the beach, start the journey back to your hotel.
Drop-off at your hotel in Agadir or Taghazout.
Note:
- Sandals and shorts are recommended for sandboarding.

nice experience and to try especially for the wonderful place where you do sandsurfing. although the activity is very pleasant, it becomes a bit repetitive after descending the same dune several times. the typical dinner in a local village is also very popular. however the price is a little high for the service offered.
I loved the sandboarding trip, we were gone for about 6hrs but this was broken up by lunch in the instructor’s Auntie’s house, which was a lovely house in a small village & quite possibly one of the best meals we had all week. We then drove to the sand dunes & after a 15-minute walk, we got to our location. I would strongly recommend you wear socks as you do not wear your trainers on the boards & the sand is ridiculously hot. Make sure you bring plenty of water. It’s a physical activity but lots of fun.
We had such a good experience sandboarding with Agadir Experience, would definitely reccomend it to anyone visiting the area! Great day out in the Moroccan sunshine! the assistant was great fun, we all enjoyed his company. We had a lovely authentic chicken tagine at a local house, one of the best we’ve had in morocco! Thanks for a great day !!
A truly great afternoon. Everything ran to time. The lunch was such a great experience for me and my girls and my youngest spoke about that lunch and wanting to have it again for the rest of our holiday!! The sand boarding itself was great fun. A lot of laughs had by all. Lovely friendly people, our instructor was good fun and watching the sun set in the dunes was stunning. A truly great and memorable day. Thank you
